I am still waiting for the phonecall from the resturant to come and get tings rolling. It all depends on when the other company comes and takes there items out. I have been hearing things about the other service company and I can not beleive that someone would do what they are doing and getting away with it.

Well I got a call apperently its real. Its between me and another company now I am shaking I cant beleive that when I started this business that I would ever get a chance to do this kind of setup in Wisconsin. Only time will tell.

Update on expansion

Due to some glitches I will not be buying out my compeditor he desided to change his mind. But ohh well other then that things have been going well. Hopefully I will be taking over two tanks at the local hospital. One of the tanks is 200 gallons plus.(Dont know the exact size it is a custom made tank) The other is a 55 gallon setup. I am hoping that the big one they will choose it to be a saltwater setup. I also just sent two quotes over to a wausau nursing home for two large tanks and I am hoping to hear back from them soon.

I have used this skimmer for about a year now and it dose pull alot of gunk out but the only thing is that it is a pain in the butt for adjusting it. I am still not able to turn it open all the way. When i do it skimms very wet and after a while it will lower the salinity if not monitored.. So from 1 to 10 I give it a 6.

Britain's 'biggest goldfish

A marine biologist has described a Kent goldfish which is over a foot long as "simply amazing".

Widow Ada Shaw, 83, from Folkestone, bought Goldie for 99p 15 years ago, when he was just an inch long.

The fish is now 1ft 3in (38cm) long, 5in (12cm) high, and weighs over 2lb (0.9kg).

Darren Gook, marine biologist at Great Yarmouth Sea Life Centre, said: "I have never heard of any goldfish to grow to this size."

Some claim Goldie is the largest goldfish in Britain, and the second largest in the world, behind a 1ft 7in (48cm) fish located in the Netherlands.

'Just incredible'

But Dick Mills, secretary of the Federation of British Aquatic Societies (FBAS), said Goldie's size was "not that unusual".

"I would think there are probably a few bigger goldfish that people don't think of as record holders, perhaps in ornamental lakes.

"Goldfish are very long lived animals and consequently if they're in the right environment they will get large."

Frances Marchall, a friend of Ms Shaw, said: "I just think Goldie is incredible. I don't understand how he could have got so big in the tank that he's in."

Ms Shaw said: "I feed Goldie at 10 o'clock in the morning and again at 10 o'clock at night, but I have no idea how he got so big."

"I give him a little bit more if I think he's looking for some, even though I shouldn't, but he hasn't suffered for it has he?"

It has been some time since I have gotten on here. I have gottten a few more clients and a few more leads. I will be now setting you tow 210 FW planted aquariums withing the next month. That willbe an interesting venture. I wil definitly take plenty of photos. I also started gettting into retail sales and it has been doing very well so far.

The tale of a clownfish that got lost at sea in the 2003 movie Finding Nemo may be a taste of things to come - as rising carbon dioxide levels could leave the fish unable to find their way around, say scientists. Tests on clownfish larvae showed they became disoriented and were unable to find a suitable place to live if they were raised in seawater that had absorbed carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The effect is potentially devastating for a wide range of fish populations because many rely on odours in seawater to seek out the right habitats to live in, according to researchers investigating the impact of greenhouse gas emissions on marine life. The world's oceans soak up vast quantities of carbon dioxide released by burning fossil fuels. By absorbing the gas, oceans become more acidic. Global ocean pH has dropped around 0.1 points since preindustrial times. But with increasing carbon emissions expected, this pH is predicted to fall a further 0.3 to 0.4 points by 2100. Writing in the US journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the scientists describe how clownfish larvae lose the ability to sense vital odours in more acidic waters, probably owing to the damage caused to their olfactory systems. "They can't distinguish between their own parents and other fish, and they become attracted to substances they previously avoided. It means the larvae will have less opportunity to find the right habitat, which could be devastating for their populations," said Kjell Døving, a co-author from the University of Oslo. Clownfish eggs are carried on the ocean currents. When they hatch, the larvae pick up scents leading them to reefs and anemones, where they make their homes. In the study, scientists checked how well the larvae followed odours in normal seawater, which has a pH of 8.15, and compared it with their performance in slightly acidified seawater that mimics ocean conditions expected in 2100 and beyond. At a pH of 7.8, the larvae stopped following odour trails released by reefs and anemones. Instead, they homed in on scents they normally avoided, including those released by plants and other organisms which thrive in the wrong kinds of habitat for the fish. The larvae also lost the ability to use smell to distinguish between their parents and other fish. At pH of 7.6, the larvae were unable to follow any kind of odour in the water, and instead swam in random directions.

Bad Day for Turtle

His name is Herb, and he was very, very cold when he was found on a Cape Cod beach.The 75-pound loggerhead sea turtle was discovered by volunteers from the Massachusetts Audubon Sanctuary at Wellfleet Bay and was taken to the New England Aquarium in Boston for a slow but steady warmup.The aquarium said Herb's body temperature was in the 40s when he was found on the beach in Truro on Dec. 3. Veterinarians and rescue biologists slowly warmed him about five degrees each day, and his body temperature is now in the low 70's.Now Herb is ready to be moved to the Riverhead Foundation on New York's Long Island, which rehabilitates and releases seals, whales, dolphins, and sea turtles.Herb, who was also suffering from an eye infection, is not the only sea turtle rescued from Cape Cod in a state of hypothermia this season.

I was able to have a meeting with Keith Kline of www.onyourmark.com and man did I ever learn alot from him. I also got his book from him as well and I havnt put it down yet. I hope that within the next month you will be seeing many more changes on my site for a more positive aspect of things. Thank you Keith for all you help.
